Created the first structured early career pathway for underrepresented talent into BBC News, in partnership with senior leadership. The programme set a new standard for access and became a model adopted across the division.
First DEI strategy for a broadcaster in a conflict-affected region
Developed the first diversity and inclusion strategy for a European Broadcasting Union member operating in a conflict-affected environment. A pioneering piece of work navigating complex cultural, political, and organisational realities to deliver a credible, context-specific framework.
Neurodiversity toolkit for HR professionals
Delivered a practical neurodiversity toolkit for HR teams in partnership with University College Cork. Translating academic research into clear, sector-ready guidance for recruitment, management, and workplace adjustment.

My career has taken me from Care of Collections at the National Trust to the heart of government. Across three century-old institutions and multiple sectors, I have worked at every level, advising boards, leading programmes, and delivering on the ground.That includes the gender pay gap regulations, the Civil Service D&I Strategy 2022 to 2025, the suffrage centenary in 2018, and culture work in conflict-affected environments across the BBC and the European Broadcasting Union.My work combines policy, operational expertise, and hands-on delivery. I understand how institutions operate, how businesses grow, and what it takes to shift culture from the inside.
